Explore a variety of STEM and aviation-themed sciences with a short lesson and hands-on activity. Ideal for learners ages 8-12. THIS MONTH: College Park is home to the oldest continuously operating airport in the world. With that record, we have a lot of aviation history to celebrate at our airport. Participants will learn about the many ‘firsts’ that happened right here at CPA and then get the chance to design and model their own airfields of the future. Registration is not required and drop-ins are welcome.

Baseball skills training for players. Participants will learn how to improve throwing, catching and hitting.

Teens will express themselves through spoken words, poetry, singing to a live band expressing themselves to elected officials.

About the Program
Since 1996, the Teen Performance Ensemble has provided on-the-job training in musical theater skills to aspiring teen actors. The troupe presents one-act musical plays, directed by theatrical professionals, to the public and to children enrolled in M-NCPPC’s Summer Playgrounds and Camps.
