The Artisan Shop is an excellent destination to discover one-of-a-kind handcrafted items created by nearly forty local artisans, such as jewelry, textiles, pottery, fused glass, greeting cards, and more. The Holiday Craft Market and seasonal Artisan Shop Pop-Ups are highly anticipated annual events that provide additional opportunities to shop and support local artists. Travis Childers, a Nashville-born artist, combines collage and sculpture in his exhibition Accumulating the Everyday. Using tape, he crafts collages that focus on specific elements like faces, eyes, or vegetation. His work graces national and international venues, including the Ethan Cohen Gallery and Sothebys Artlink Young Artists Program. With a Master of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Childers now resides in Fairfax, Virginia, where he founded Ruby Projects. Notably, he has received grants and awards, including recognition from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
