Celebrate Earth Day all month long with M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County!
Every Saturday in April, we’re holding open houses at our nature-focused facilities. Drop in to visit our sites, enjoy activities, and meet our dedicated staff.

Each site will offer a variety of FREE activities that may include:

• Free giveaways (while supplies last)

• Animal feeding demonstrations
• Free pontoon boat tours (Patuxent & Bladensburg Waterfront Parks)
• Birds of prey program (Watkins & Clearwater Nature Center)

• Barn animal meet-and-great (Old Maryland Farm)
• Sheep shearing demonstrations (Old Maryland Farm)
• Wool and fiber displays (Old Maryland Farm)
• Garden Crawl (Mount Rainier Nature Center)
