An award-winning play by Marcia E. Cole that has been performed in several Washington D.C. venues and now at Marietta! After seeing an 1800’s newspaper ad for selling a mule for five dollars and a 75-year old enslaved woman for one-dollar, Cole was inspired to write this moving play about the woman’s self-reflection on her humanity.
