Explore life in 18th century Colonial Maryland with a tour of the historic house and examine archaeological artifacts while learning about the lives of the enslaved people who lived and labored here. Analyze the stories of freedom-seekers to better understand the ways in which enslaved individuals found paths to freedom. Fulfills Maryland State Standards for 4th grade. For ages 6 – 14 years. Fee: $2/student, chaperones are free.
