Experience the energy, rhythm, and cultural richness of African dance in this dynamic and engaging class from the professionals of Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Rooted in traditional and contemporary styles from across the African diaspora, this class introduces students to powerful movements, grounded footwork, and expressive storytelling through dance. Women/girls can wear a lappa (two yards of African print fabric to be wrapped around the waist). Spaces are limited; advanced registration is recommended.
