Friday, September 22, 11 am & 1 pm. Special Highlight Tour in honor of Underground Railroad Month. The tour will highlight the avenues of resistance taken by the enslaved families and individuals who lived and labored at Marietta in the nineteenth century— including Benjamin Duckett, who was born into slavery at Marietta but used the Underground Railroad to escape to freedom. Marietta House Museum is on the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Trail.
