Preservation Workshop: Caring for Textiles
The workshop will involve preservation advice in relation to textiles, including how best to protect items from light, dirt, oils, acids, and more. It will also cover creating the ideal storage conditions for the long-term preservation of textiles, how to best deal with fluctuations in temperature and humidity, and to correctly handle and display items. Includes a free tour of Montpelier House Museum.
