“Jazz Group of the Year” nominee, The Lao Tizer Band, makes their return to the wonderfully intimate space of Montpelier Arts Center presenting their Billboard Jazz Top 10 Songs From The Swinghouse! Led by keyboardist, composer, and former “Best New Jazz Artist” nominee, Lao Tizer (Special EFX, Down To The Bone), the group features “The Voice” star Maiya Sykes (Postmodern Jukebox); Grammy-winning drum phenom, Gene Coye (Terence Blanchard, Larry Carlton, Stanley Clarke); and Senegalese bassist, composer and producer, Cheikh N’Doye (Baaba Maal, Weedie Bramah). Please join us for a memorable evening of music not to be missed!
