It exemplifies resilience and resistance against oppression and a fine example of human ingenuity. \n\n\n\n\n\nSTRYKERS’ POSSE\, led by powerhouse vocalists Ichelle Cole and Yvonne Deane Hibbert\, often called the East Coast “Queens of Reggae\,” has been a vibrant force in the region’s reggae scene for decades. Known for their high‑energy performances and rich cultural roots\, the group has shared stages with legendary artists including The Wailers\, Burning Spear\, and Maxi Priest. Their dynamic sound and commanding presence continue to uplift audiences across the DMV and beyond. \n\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 28\, 2026\, 4-6 pm: Celebrating Jazz and Blues\n\n\n\n\nB.T. Richardson is a Washington\, D.C.\, born and Los Angeles raised singer\, songwriter\, and bassist who has led his eclectic band THE BLACK COFFEE EXPERIENCE since 1995. A dynamic performer\, he has shared stages with artists such as VINX\, Son Seals\, Bo Diddley\, Marva Wright\, and El DeBarge. His touring career has taken him to major festivals and venues worldwide\, and his creative work also includes commercial and independent film projects. \n\n\n\n\n\nSince 1990\, THE MOONLIGHTERS® have been performing across the United States as one of the most beloved and authentic Motown and variety dance bands\, with a repertoire of more than 400 songs spanning multiple styles. Their spot‑on vocals\, tight musicianship\, and standout showmanship make every performance unforgettable. Known for getting audiences on their feet\, The Moonlighters® read the crowd with ease\, take requests\, and create an interactive\, high‑energy experience.
