Montpelier Festival of Herbs, Tea and the Arts
Saturday, May 3, 2008 (volunteer shifts begin at 7:30 am and continue throughout the day)
Participants will discover the beautiful herb gardens, savor tea and enjoy the arts at this popular event for the whole family. Assist staff with set-up, children's activities, information booth, and in the historic kitchen reproduction; provide customer service to participants. Groups and families are encouraged.

    Senior Health and Fitness Day
    Wednesday, May 21, 7:30 am-1 pm
    Senior Health and Fitness day is a day for senior adults to engage in healthy living activities including fitness events, nutrition sessions and visit vendors who exhibit healthy lifestyle choices.

    Wayne K. Curry Sports and Learning Complex

    Title Ambassador
    Duties/Responsibilities Direct participants to different events; assist with registration and man some exhibits.
    Requirements ages 18 and up; good customer service; ability to help others who have special needs. Brief orientation from 7:30-8 am.

    Dance Recital
    Sunday, May 25, 10 am-5 pm
    Dance participants will perform dance routines to audience of all ages.

    Bowie High School Auditorium
    15200 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD 20715

    Title ushers, ticket takers, stage hands, help dancers prepare for dance routines.
    Requirements ages 13 and up; good customer service; ability to help others; wear white top and black pants. Group volunteers welcome.
