The Canoe Launch is located adjacent to the Patuxent River 4-H Center. To access the launch site, enter through a gate at the parking lot of the Patuxent River Scenic Trail at Queen Anne. A floating pier provides easy access to the river and parking is available. The river is susceptible to seasonal flooding so visitors are encouraged to check river conditions and plan ahead. Access is restricted - call the park office to get the lock combination, 301-627-6074.
