PROGRAMS & EVENTS

Surratt House Museum is open from mid-January thru mid-December each year. In addition to guided tours, a wide variety of special events and exhibits are held. Victorian valentines are featured for several weeks from mid-January thru late-February, open houses are offered in the spring and fall, and the season ends with a festive Victorian Yuletide celebration.

Popular exhibits have included displays on local history, 19th-century weddings, the black soldier during the Civil War, Victorian mourning customs, and the roots of the women's movement.
