JUNIOR DOCENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

The Junior Docent program, established in 1997 at Marietta House Museum, is an opportunity for teens to get involved in their community and to interpret local history.

Qualifications:
Junior Docents must be between ages of 13-17 and should be responsible, dependable, enthusiastic, and creative.

Requirements: Some activities may require customer service, overseeing craft projects and outdoor games with children, serving refreshments, setting up tables and chairs, story telling, directing parking, assisting with admissions, and cash handling. Junior Docents may learn to conduct museum tours.
