2008 EVENT CALENDAR

May 10, 1-4 pm
Victorian Scrapbooking
Learn about the history of scrapbooking and how to create your own traditional Victorian scrapbook highlighting May Day and summer festivities. Guests may bring their own photographs. Program for ages 15 & up.
Reservations required by May 2.
Fee: $7/person (fee covers supplies)

May 17 & June 14, 11 am-2 pm
Old Fashioned Baseball Game
Play ball! Children will learn about the history of America's favorite pastime by playing 19th century baseball or "Town Ball".
Program for ages 7 & up.
Reservations required by May 9 (for May 17) and June 6 (for June 14).
Fee: $7/person

July 19 & Aug. 16, 11 am-2 pm
A Young Girl in the 19th Century
Children will discover what it was like to be a young girl in the 19th century, through the eyes of Gabriella Duvall, Judge Duvall's granddaughter. Games, crafts, and more! Program for ages 5 and up.
Reservations required by July 11 (for July 19) and Aug. 8 (for Aug. 16).
Fee: $7/person

Sept 7, 12 noon-4 pm
Grandparents' Day Tour
Celebrate National Grandparents' Day by treating your grandparents or grandchildren to a special tour highlighting the relationship between Gabriel Duvall and his grandchildren.
No reservations necessary.
Fee: $3/adults; $2/seniors; $1/ages 5-18; Free/ages 4 & under

November 8, 1-4 pm

Learn about the history of scrapbooking and how to create your own traditional Victorian scrapbook highlighting the upcoming holiday season. Guests may bring their own photographs. Program for ages 15 & up.
Reservations required by October 31.
Fee: $7/person (fee covers supplies)

December 6 & 7, 13 & 14, 5-9 pm
Once Upon A Time
See Marietta's rooms transformed into scenes from some of your favorite fairytales, nursery rhymes and children's stories. The program will delight children of all ages! No reservations necessary.
Fee: $5/person
