Saturday, January 24, 1-2:30 pm
First Ladies Tea
Celebrate Inauguration Weekend with a special tea featuring the favorite dishes of First Ladies. Special guests include First Ladies Martha Washington and Dolley Madison (a close friend of Mrs. Duvall).
Reservations and payment required in advance.
Fee: $5/person

Saturday, February 7, 12, 1, 2, & 3 pm
Life on the Plantation: African American History Tour
Join us for a special tour that focuses on the daily lives of the slaves who lived and worked at Marietta Plantation.
No reservations necessary.
Regular tour admission price.

Saturday, February 14, 5, 6, & 7 pm
Famous Couples of Marietta Tour
Treat your sweetheart to a candlelight tour highlighting famous couples who lived at or visited Marietta. Program includes a complimentary glass of champagne or punch and delectable desserts.
No reservations necessary.
Fee: $8/person; $15/couple

Saturday, March 7, 12 noon-4 pm
7th MD Company A U.S. Drill Day
Civil War reenactors demonstrate military drills, weaponry and tacticals. Free admission to the demonstration.
No reservations necessary.
Regular tour fee for house tours.

Glenn Dale Easter Egg Hunt
Bring a basket and join the eggstravaganza on the grounds of Marietta.
No reservations necessary.

Saturday, April 18 & Sunday, April 19, 11 am-5 pm
Marching Through Time
Spend the day at our living history encampment that encompasses reenactors from 1st century Rome through 20th century Gulf War. Visitors will experience camp and domestic life, military drills, period merchants, crafts, food and more. No pets allowed. Free parking at Glenn Dale Community Center with continuous shuttle service to the event.
No reservations necessary.
Fee: $8/adult, $5/ages 5 & older, FREE/4 & under

Saturday, May 2, 9 am-4 pm
Gabriel Duvall Bus Tour Annapolis: The Early Years
Visit Annapolis where Gabriel Duvall spent the early years of his law career.
Reservations and payment required in advance.

Free Mother's Day Tours
Complimentary tours of the Museum to mothers and grandmothers when accompanied by a paying child or grandchild.

June 19 - August 30, 12 noon-4 pm
Dressed for Success: Clothing Fashions of the Early 19th Century
Ever wonder what kinds of clothes fashion icon and First Lady Dolley Madison wore? Or Judge Duvall? This exhibit explores what kinds of clothing early 19th century Americans wore to impress their peers.
No reservations necessary.

Grandparents' Day Tour
Celebrate National Grandparents’ Day by treating your grandparents or grandchildren to a special tour highlighting the relationship between Gabriel Duvall and his grandchildren who also lived at Marietta.
No reservations necessary.

Saturday, September 19, 3-5:30 pm
High Tea: Victorian-Style
Enjoy a traditional high tea on Marietta’s manicured lawn surrounded by beautiful fall foliage. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors.

Fee: $22/person

Saturday, October 3, 7:30-10 pm
Harvest Fete Champetre
The Duvalls cordially invite you to celebrate the fall harvest at an outdoor Regency-style ball. Dance the night away to traditional English country music, enjoy a romantic stroll through Marietta’s beautiful grounds lit by lanterns and dine on a sumptuous supper. Special guests include the Duvalls’ close friends President and Mrs. James Madison. Come in period attire or black tie. Space is limited.

Fee: $50/person; $85/couple

Saturday, October 24, 7 pm
Fall Campfire
Join us for our fall campfire. Enjoy the warmth of the fire as we roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories. Light refreshments will be served.

December 5 & 12, 5-7 pm
Once Upon a Time
See Marietta’s rooms transformed into scenes from some of your favorite fairytales, nursery rhymes and children’s stories. The program will delight children of all ages!
