  Two Montpelier resident printmakers exhibit prints and sketches made over the years of the jazz musicians who have played at Montpelier. From quick drawings made during rehearsals to complex prints this is both a tribute to jazz and the process of art.

  37th Annual Laurel Art Guild Open Juried Exhibition
  on view thru Wednesday, March 29 in the Main Gallery at Montpelier. This year’s exhibition was juried by artist Geri Smith, a teacher and painter. Sixty works were chosen from the 125 entries submitted by artists from Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The resulting exhibition reflects both the diversity and high quality of the entrants. Prizes for first-third place and three merit awards were given as well as three honorable mentions.
