Lillian Perry received her formal training in evening art classes given by Montgomery County public schools. Following a suggestion from one of her art instructors, she began her 40-year career as a copy artist at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Perry receives commissions for her oil paintings from across the United States. The artist currently teaches art in the continuing education program at Prince George's Community College and lives in Hyattsville, Md.
