Bluebird Heights USA
by Croom High School
Croom Vocational High School students have worked with the school's art teacher, Brett King, on several community art projects: a mural celebrating the Prince George's County Tricentennial, a 9' sculpture entitled "Reach" which won first prize in Maryland's Art of Recycling, and the design and fabrication of two television studio sets. In 1997, the Upper Marlboro, Md., school won a grant for a student-produced video for the Maryland State Attorney General's Office.
