Feathered Harlequin by Stevens Jay Carter
Stevens Jay Carter received his B.A. in studio arts from the University of Pittsburgh. He has won public art commissions for murals from New York; Altoona and Harrisburg, Pa.; and the Smithsonian Institute's Anacostia and Sumner School Museums. Carter has held art faculty positions at Carnegie Mellon and other Pennsylvania universities. The artist lives in Washington, D.C.
