- All trips are self-sustaining, therefore, refunds for all trips will be made only if your place can be filled or the trip is cancelled. Medical reasons cannot be used for refunds unless your spot can be filled.
- Due to the full tour itinerary, stamina, independence and self-care are necessary. Participant must be able to maintain group pace.
- Trips depend on sufficient registration; specific registration deadlines may apply.
- Registration for the spring Trips & Excursions begins Monday, February 10 for Prince George's County residents and Tuesday, February 18 for Montgomery County residents and non-residents.
- Note: Montgomery County residents pay the "resident" fee for all trips

Sight & Sound Theater, Pennsylvania: “Moses”

Register early for “Moses,” the newest show and musical at the Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Be prepared to see on stage the parting of the Red Sea, the Burning Bush, the Plagues, the Ten Commandments and finally the greatest Biblical epic of the Old Testament come to life. Lunch is more like dinner that’s included at Shady Maple. If you love to eat, you’ll love the 200-foot buffet, the open grill for made-to-order requests from meat to seafood, along with other great selections such as prime rib, a variety of seafood and great desserts and salads. Some time will be given to browse the large gift shop on the premises. Don’t miss this day of joy and inspiration.

Center Stage, Virginia: "The Rat Pack is Back"

Travel with us for some fun as we head to Richmond, Virginia to see “The Rat Pack Is Back”, a live musical review. This spirited show recreates one of the famous “Summits at the Sands” nights when a swingin’ ring-a-ding group known as “The Rat Pack” was creating a hipster legend act starring Vegas’ favorite sons: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Dean Martin. Enjoy this uncanny vocal recreation with a live 12-piece Orchestra that sends audiences straight back to the coolest time in history. You'll have an orchestra seat at the Carpenter Center, Richmond’s fully renovated and restored modern historic theatre. Dinner is included and will follow after the show at the Savory Grain, Richmond’s newest farm to table restaurant. The restaurant features delicious entrees and desserts all made with the freshest ingredients. Come out to enjoy this wonderful day in Virginia!

Alexandria, Virginia Historic Brunch and Tea

Join us as we make our first stop for brunch at Carlyle Restaurant in Virginia serving delicious breakfast options as well as mouth watering lunch entrees of your choice. Included is a delightful mimosa, sparkling Virginia cider or the bellini cocktail. You won’t leave hungry especially after eating one of their wonderful dessert offerings. Next on the trip is a stop in Alexandria for a tour of two historic trust homes located on the same grounds. The tour includes Woodlawn, a Federal/Georgian Style home designed by the same architect who designed the U.S. Capitol and the Pope-Leighley House, a simple yet stunning Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian home. Last on the itinerary, the historic Green Spring Garden to tour a lovely garden and for delicious English tea included and served in the 1784 historic house along with our own master gardener or garden docent. Chanticleer House & Garden, Pennsylvania Brunch and Tea

Join us as we travel to Wayne, Pennsylvania to visit Chanticleer, one of the great gardens of the region. The Chanticleer Historic House and Garden Estate dates from the early 20th Century. The day will include a guided tour of the house while you can tour the garden at your leisure. A plated brunch is included at EMJ’s Café where locals go for all homemade everything, including desserts or delicious milkshakes. The tour also includes a stop at the Edward Freeman Nut, Chocolate and Candy Company for a delicious treat that’s included in the cost; a company that has been in business for over 100 years! Our last stop will be at the Taste of Britain Tea Room for a full British Tea with tea sandwiches on a tiered platter, warm homemade scones with lemon curd, clotted cream and raspberry preserves and mini decadent pastries made fresh daily. If you tea doesn't tickle your fancy, other hot drinks will be available. Enjoy shopping in the tea room for British souvenirs; this is a special day made for you to enjoy!
