Class covers safety, gun operation and proper shooting techniques. We suggest all new shooters over age 14 take this class. (A ninety-minute class is $40 per person and includes everything required for the session). Call the center for dates & times. Pre-registration recommended.Skeet, Trap & Sporting Clay ClinicsTaught by a certified instructor, limited to five shooters per group; learn how these games are shot, the types of target presentations and proper shooting techniques. Clinic is for those who have shot before, but want to take their shooting to the next level. Please call for the center for dates and times. Pre-registration recommended.Private InstructionThe range also offers private instruction from Rhys Arthur, a NSCA Level III instructor. Rhys welcomes all levels of shooters who wish to improve their shooting ability and enjoyment of the game. LeaguesYouth EventsSaturday Morning Youth ShootingThis program provides young adults (12-17) with opportunities to participate in organized, adult-supervised trap, skeet, and sporting clays activities. All participants must pass a safety class to enter the program. The safety class is held once a month. Please call the 301-577-7178 for dates and times.Teen Target Summer CampTeen Target Shooting Camps are offered in July for ages 12-16. This 5-day shooting program teaches youth safe and responsible shotgun handling, as well as skills in trap, skeet and sporting clays activities. There are many games within the sport of target shooting where youth will learn personal responsibility, sportsmanship and teamwork. Information will be available in M-NCPPC’s Summer Camp brochure and at using the SMARTlink system. |
