The Watkins Tennis Bubble is known for its five indoor tennis hard courts. The air-conditioned bubble allows comfortable, indoor, year-round play. The facility offers contract and spot time; Saturday night party rentals; private and group instruction for juniors, adults and seniors; leagues for all ages. Discounts are available for juniors (17 & under) and senior citizens (60 & over).

Watkins Tennis Bubble Club House Renovation Update: November 2014

The expansion and renovation of the Watkins Tennis Bubble Club House is under construction and projected to be completed in February 2015.

The new Club House will have a larger lobby, reception area, multi-purpose room (to accommodate a least 50 people), exercise room, larger and ADA accessible restrooms and a green roof with solar panels.

We will continue to keep you updated on the progress.

Note: Watkins Tennis Bubble will remain open for play during the renovation.

FREE Tennis Clinic for Prince George's County Students

Tennis clinic will be conducted by Middle and High School coaches and Tennis Pros. Tennis rackets will be provided for the clinic to those who need them.

Spectators are welcome to watch and bring their own portable chair.

Ages: All Prince George's County school children welcome.
Rain or Shine. Indoor and outdoor courts.

From the Capital Beltway (I-495), take Exit 15A (Central Avenue) east. Continue for approximately three miles. Turn right onto Watkins Park Drive (Route 193) and follow the park signs to the facility.

From Route 301, turn onto Central Avenue (Route 214) west. Continue for approximately three miles (past Six Flags America). Turn left onto Watkins Park Drive and follow to the park entrance on the right.
