The Watkins Tennis Bubble is known for its five indoor tennis hard courts. The air-conditioned bubble allows comfortable, indoor, year-round play. The facility offers contract and spot time; Saturday night party rentals; private and group instruction for juniors, adults and seniors; leagues for all ages. Discounts are available for juniors (17 & under) and senior citizens (60 & over).
Watkins Tennis Bubble Club House Update
August 1, 2014:
The expansion and renovation of the Watkins Tennis Bubble Club House is under construction and projected to be completed in February 2015. The new Club House will have a larger lobby, reception area, multi-purpose room (to accommodate a least 50 people), exercise room, larger and ADA accessible restrooms and a green roof with solar panels. We will continue to keep you updated on the progress.
Note: the Watkins Tennis Bubble will remain open for play during the renovation.

Back To School Night Tennis Clinic
Held at the Watkins Tennis Bubble. Tennis clinic will be conducted by Middle & High School coaches and Tennis Pros. Spectators are welcome to watch and bring their own portable chair. Tennis rackets will be provided for those who need them.

U.S. Open Tennis Tournament Day Trip Excursion
Come join us to watch some of the best tennis and tennis athletes in the world at the
2014 US Open! We'll travel to Flushing Meadows, New York for this iconic tournament.
Your court side Arthur Ashe ticket allows you to sit at all of the tennis courts, including the Louis Armstrong Court, the Grandstand Court and the side courts.
Feel the excitement and experience and enjoy tennis at its best!
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult and are subject to fees.
Fee: Resident $180; Non-Resident $216
Includes admission and transportation. Meals are not included. Trips depends on sufficient registration; No refunds, unless trip is cancelled.
Day trip leaves from and returns to Watkins Tennis Bubble.
From the Capital Beltway (I-495), take Exit 15A (Central Avenue) east. Continue for approximately three miles. Turn right onto Watkins Park Drive (Route 193) and follow the park signs to the facility.
From Route 301, turn onto Central Avenue (Route 214) west. Continue for approximately three miles (past Six Flags America). Turn left onto Watkins Park Drive and follow to the park entrance on the right.
