Tucker Road Ice Rink1770 Tucker Road Tucker Road Ice Rink held its annual ice show on Sunday, May 23, 2010. This year's annual ice show was entitled, "Sunday in the Park". Nearly 60 students from our Learn to Skate classes and competitive figure skaters took the ice for over an hour and a half of ice entertainment. We had over 15 young skaters under 6 years old skating to “Surf’s Up”. They really put on a show. The Freestyle skaters put on a great number, “Singing in the Rain” and “It’s Raining Men”, while the Pre-Alpha through Gamma group celebrated their performance, “It’s a Picnic” with blankets and all! In addition to the Learn to Skate groups, several of our competitive skaters were strutting their stuff with their solo numbers. Skating last in the program was the Rink’s 2010 1st Place Synchronize Team, from ISI District 4 Competition, who delighted us with their winning program. All in all, it was truly a day that Tucker Road Ice Rink showed off their stuff and we all went home with a great feeling of accomplishment and a big smile. Please come out during our public ice skating and bumper cars on ice sessions and register for our Learn to Skate ice skating and hockey courses.
