Walking is the most popular form of exercise in the United States.  Walking is a safe, convenient, and affordable way to stay in shape.  It is also one of the best ways to connect with others.  

We offer countless opportunities to spend time with others, enjoy the outdoors and improve your well-being with the most popular form of exercise in the United States – walking! 

Discover Our Walking Programs

Club 300 – Walk Across  America Challenge is a free senior walking program.  Participants choose where and when to walk - indoors or outdoors, alone or with others, as they take a virtual walk across America!

Walk and Talk with the Doc is a free community walking program.  Local health care professionals share health information and lead a group walk at four locations in Prince George’s County from April 4 – October 16.

Walk with Ease is a free a FREE six week exercise program developed by the Arthritis Foundation, that aims to reduce the pain of arthritis and improve overall health for our Prince George’s County residents. This program will run from April to July at two locations within the county.
