Prince George's County Youth Golf Training Center opened in 1998 and was funded, in part, by a grant from the USGA. It is located adjacent to Prince George's Ballroom and Kentland Community Center on the site of the former Prince George's Country Club - a premier area golf club during the 1950's and 60's. The facility consists of a driving range, synthetic practice green, a short game area, a 3-hole layout with synthetic greens, and 3 different tee boxes. The training center is now host to The First Tee Prince George's County and offers instruction for all golfing levels.
