GolfWhether its recreational or tournament play you seek, check out M-NCPPC's fine golf facilities in Prince George's County:
Accessible golf carts are now on the greens! The Department of Parks and Recreation has accessible golf carts to make the popular sport of golf more available to individuals with mobility impairments. Operated by hand controls, the seat raises and lowers as well as swivels to allow positioning to the ball. The golf bag is mounted to the front for easy access to the clubs.
The golf carts are available at Prince George's County's Paint Branch Golf Complex, Enterprise Golf Course and Henson Creek Golf Course. The accessible carts are available for use by beginning golfers at the driving range; more experienced golfers may use the carts on the 9-hole course. The fee for use is $7 per round of golf, or free with a bucket of balls at the driving range. Reservations with 24-hour advance notice are required, and may be made by calling:

Frequent Fairways Club members may reserve tee times at Enterprise Golf Course up to 10 days in advance, compared to 6 day advance reservation for the general public.
The cost to purchase a Frequent Fairways Club Card is just $10. Choose one of three county courses (Enterprise, Paint Branch or Henson Creek Golf Course) as your "home" course and purchase your card at that course. Simply bring your Frequent Fairways Club Card with you each time you play golf at your "home course" and have the card scanned on-site. Your paid greens fees figure will be registered and recorded as points in your patron bank when your card is scanned. You'll instantly begin accruing credit towards FREE play! (NOTE: Only greens fees are recorded for this program.) When your "free play" level at your home course is reached, that round (greens fees) is on us!
FREE PLAY opportunities are only good at the "home course" where the Frequent Fairways Club Card was purchased. A second card, or a second and third card, may be purchased for one or both of the other M-NCPPC golf courses in Prince George's County for only $5 each, giving you opportunities to accumulate points for FREE PLAY at all three course.

The First Tee of Prince George’s County The First Tee is a unique youth development program that uses golf as the platform to teach life skills and golf. The life skills training revolves around 9 core values (courtesy, confidence, integrity, judgment, perseverance, respect, responsibility, honesty, and sportsmanship) designed to help shape the character of young people through positive learning experiences that are inherent in the game of golf.
M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation has sponsored the County’s First Tee chapter since its inception in 2001.
Classes are offered at all of our golf course locations, weekday evenings and weekends (late March through September) with registration beginning in mid-February. Classes are divided into three (7-8 week) sessions and are available to boys and girls ages 7-18. Enrollment for one, two or all three sessions is available at registration. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee is $90 for the first child and $60 for each sibling for the program season. Participants are able to advance in the program according to their skills, desires and level of commitment.
