Kids' ClubKids' Club is an after-school program for children in kindergarten through 6th grade developed to introduce children to sports, swimming, tennis, gymnastics, and arts and crafts. Afternoon snacks are provided. All instruction is by certified teachers. We follow the Prince George's county school calendar - if school is closed or closes early, Kids' Club will not meet that day. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 2-6 pm. The cost is $300 per month for Prince George's and Montgomery county resident and $360 for all other counties, plus a $25 registration fee. Call 301-362-6060 for more information. Transportation is provided by Prince George's county school bus for children from Bond Mill Elementary School.
Boundless PlaygroundM-NCPPC has Boundless Playground adjacent to the Fairland Aquatics Center parking lot. A public/private partnership recognized the need for playgrounds where children of all abilities could laugh, play and grow together. A Boundless Playground is a playground where at least 70% of the entire playground is universally accessible to all children. It features a sand play area with a shade structure, a pre-school play area designed for children ages 2-5 and a swing area. Fairland's Boundless Playground is Maryland's tenth.
Lifeguard TrainingLifeguard training and certification classes are periodically offered at Fairland and other M-NCPPC facilities for a modest fee. Please check for class availability in SMARTlink or call 301-362-6060 to check upcoming class offerings at Fairland.
