PRIDE Swim Team

• The Summer PRIDE Swim Team has two (2) practice locations.  You may either register to practice at Ellen Linson Pool, 5211 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, MD 20740, and at North Barnaby Splash Park, 5000 Wheeler Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745.
• There will be a PRIDE Swim Team and Parent Orientation on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 6pm at Ellen Linson Pool ONLY.
• Swimmers must successfully complete tryouts and compete in Prince-Mont Swim League meets.  Team tryouts will be held at Ellen Linson Pool ONLY on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 6-8pm
• Skill assessments will be conducted on the first day of practice and adjustments may be made, if necessary.
• Each participant will need their own fins and training paddles for practice.
• There will be an additional fee for swim suit and cap.
• Register by using the SMARTlink system.  Registration starts May 14th for Residents and May 21st for Non-Residents.
• No registrations will be accepted two (2) weeks after the course has started.
• There will be no prorations of course fees for late registrants.
• PRIDE Swim Team courses are not eligible for fee assistance. 
• Each participant must complete a set of forms by the first day of practice.  A complete set of forms includes:
   Participant Profile Form
   Health Form
   Immunization Certificate (if applicable)
   Medication Form (required if taking medication at home or during program)
   Specialized Activity Form

PRIDE Swim Team: Competitive (Ages 6-17) – A competitive team which will further train for the Prince-Mont Swim League meet.  Prerequisites: Swimmers must successfully complete tryouts.
