Birthday Parties

Have your child's next birthday party at the pool!

• NOTE:  Due to a staff training, there will be no birthday parties scheduled on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
• To reserve a party, a SMARTlink account must be established and a non-refundable reservation fee is required. You and your child must be registered in SMARTlink. Please provide documents (i.e., driver's license, birth certificate) to verify age.
• The non-refundable reservation fee MUST BE PAID IN FULL at the time of booking. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check (made payable to M-NCPPC), VISA, or MasterCard. If paying within less than thirty (30) days of party rental, payment must be made with cash, VISA, or MasterCard ONLY.
• Party packages are designed for children ages 3 to 12.
• No phone reservations will be accepted.  Birthday party reservations must be made in person.  Client must sign contract/agreement at the time of booking reservation.
• Birthday party reservations must be made thirty (30) days in advance.
• You, the signatory of the contract/agreement, are required to be present during the duration of the birthday party.
• Birthday party package fees include:
  a. Funbrella (includes 20 admissions, two tables, 20 chairs) - Bi-County (Prince George's & Montgomery Counties) Residents, $150.00/3 hours; Non Bi-County Residents, $200.00/3 hours
  b. Party Tent (includes 30 admissions) - Bi-County (Prince George's & Montgomery Counties) Residents - $200.00/3 hours; Non-Residents, $240.00/3 hours
  c. Additional Admission for both Funbrella and Party Tent - Bi-County (Prince George's & Montgomery Counties) Residents, $3.50 each; Non Bi-County Residents $4.50 each
• Packages include:
  a. Use of the Funbrella or Party Tent party area for 3 hours
  b. Available times are from 12-3 pm OR 3:30-6:30 pm on Saturday OR Sunday
  c. Admission (20 admissions for Funbrella; 30 admission for Party Tent)
  d. Unlimited swimming from 12-closing
• A guest list must be submitted to the cashier/CSR on the day of the event.  Guest(s) not included on the guest list must pay the general admission fee.
• Setup time for the event begins 15 minutes before the contracted time.  Please be respectful of our facility and clean up after your event.
• Only store-bought foods are allowed.  For the safety of others, no home-cooked meals will be permitted.
• You are welcome to bring cake, however lighted candles are NOT PERMITTED.
• The use of video camera and cameras (including cell phone cameras) is prohibited.
• Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises.  Cigarette smoking is restricted to the front of the building.
• Small radios are permitted at the manager's discretion with volume at a tasteful level.
• If the pool must be closed at any point during the course of the rental, a refund will be awarded if and only if less than two-thirds of the scheduled rental time has lapsed.
• If the facility must close for the day, you will receive a full refund or credit to your account.  Refunds may take up to thirty (30) days to process.
• Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations must be made in writing and received by either the Birthday Party Coordinator or Facility Manager at least three (3) weeks prior to the scheduled date of the rental in order to receive a refund or credit.  A twenty (20) percent administrative fee will nevertheless be assessed.  Cancellations made less than three (3) weeks prior to the schedule date of the rental are subject to a $50 cancellation fee and twenty (20) percent processing fee.  "No Shows" will not be eligible for any refund whatsoever.
• All children under twelve (12) years old must be accompanied by a paying adult (18 years or older) at all times.  One supervising adult must be present for every ten (10) children.
• To ensure patron safety, all rules and policies enumerated in the "General Pool Rules and Etiquette Guide" must be closely followed and enforced.  Please see cashier/CSR or manager on duty for details.
• Failure to leave party area in condition as found (to include cleaning) will result in an additional penalty fee.
• Contractee is responsible for cleaning the designated party area following the event.  Otherwise, a clean-up fee will be assessed to your party.

Prince George's PRIDE Swim Team 

Join the Prince George’s PRIDE Swim Team at Ellen Linson Swimming Pool  in College Park or North Barnaby Splash Park in Oxon Hill. Tryouts will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Ellen Linson Pool for any new swimmers wishing to join the team this summer.  The team will compete at swim meets on Saturdays between 8 am and 12 noon.  Practices will be held Mondays-Fridays from June 4-July 27 between 6:30 and 8:00 pm.  Fees: $100/resident; $120/non-resident.  Register for course #888015 (Ellen Linson) or #888016 (North Barnaby) using the SMARTlink system at www.pgparks.com.
