Outdoor pools opening soon!

Outdoor pools will be open from May 25th thru September 2nd, 2013:

  • Weekends ONLY from May 25th - June 2nd
  • Open 7 Days a Week:  June 8th - August 18th
  • Weekends ONLY:  August 24 - September 2nd
  • ALL POOLS WILL CLOSE EARLY (4PM) ON JUNE 8TH FOR AN ALL-STAFF TRAINING AND ON JULY 4TH IN OBSERVANCE OF THE HOLIDAY
  • Allentown Splash, Tennis, and Fitness Park and Fairland Sports and Aquatics Complex will close at 4pm on June 15th.

*NOTE: Pools are cleared 15 minutes PRIOR to closing.

 

Make a splash in the summer at this 50-meter, outdoor swimming pool. Recent renovations to the pool include the addition of new Funbrella picnic areas and a pool deck, and fresh whitecoating for both the main and wading pools. Amenities include a baby pool and locker room facilities. Recreational swim and swimming lessons are available.

Location/Directions

Located in Seat Pleasant, Maryland and accessible by Metro on the Blue Line, Addison Road Station.

From the Capital Beltway (I-495), take Central Avenue toward Washington, D.C. Make a right onto Cindy Lane. Make a left onto Calmos Street. The pool entrance is located in a brick building on the left.

From Landover/Lanham, take Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway to Hill Road. Make a left onto Hill Road. Make a right onto Seat Pleasant Drive. Make a left onto Dateleaf Street. Follow Dateleaf through two signs. The pool entrance is located in a brick building on the right.
