Outdoor pools opening soon!

Outdoor pools will be open from May 25th thru September 2nd, 2013:

  • Weekends ONLY from May 25th - June 2nd
  • Open 7 Days a Week:  June 8th - August 18th
  • Weekends ONLY:  August 24 - September 2nd
  • ALL POOLS WILL CLOSE EARLY (4PM) ON JUNE 8TH FOR AN ALL-STAFF TRAINING AND ON JULY 4TH IN OBSERVANCE OF THE HOLIDAY
  • Allentown Splash, Tennis, and Fitness Park and Fairland Sports and Aquatics Complex will close at 4pm on June 15th.

*NOTE: Pools are cleared 15 minutes PRIOR to closing time.



Glenn Dale Splash Park is an outdoor water park adjacent to Glenn Dale Community Center. The splash park operates seasonally, from late May through Labor Day. The facility features slides and interactive aquatic play areas.

Location/Directions

This community center/splash pool complex is located on Route 193 in Glenn Dale. From Washington, D.C., take Route 214 (Central Avenue) East. Continue on Central Avenue past the Capital Beltway (approximately three miles). Make a left at light onto Route 193. Continue on Route 193 North. Cross over Route 450 and continue straight on Route 193 to facility on the left (across from the Glenn Dale Fire Station).

From Baltimore, take Route 3 South to Route 450 (Annapolis Road) East. Continue for approximately six miles and make a right onto Route 193 North and follow to complex on the left.
