Glenn Dale Splash Park is an outdoor water park adjacent to Glenn Dale Community Center.

This seasonal, outdoor family splash park’s amenities include a specialized water play area for pre-schoolers with slides and spray features, a large family pool with a teacup waterfall, water slide, lily pad and log crossing features, a vending area and shower/changing facilities. This facility offers American Red Cross swimming lessons and birthday parties packages are available by reservation.

Outdoor pools and Splash Parks will be open from May 25 thru September 2, 2013:

• Weekends ONLY from May 25-June 2
• Open 7 Days a week:  June 8-August 18
• Weekends ONLY:  August 24-September 2
• ALL POOLS WILL CLOSE EARLY (4 PM) ON JUNE 8 FOR AN ALL-STAFF TRAINING AND ON JULY 4TH IN OBSERVANCE OF THE HOLIDAY
• Allentown Splash, Tennis, and Fitness Park and Fairland Sports and Aquatics Complex will close at 4 pm on June 15. 

*NOTE: Pools are cleared 15 minutes PRIOR to closing time.

Birthday Party Packages

Glenn Dale Splash Park offers a Patio, 4 Funbrella shade structures and 3 Gazebos for birthday party rentals for children ages 1-13 years old. Pool birthday parties consist of 3 hours in the rental area and unlimited swimming in the pool. Parties are offered only on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM or 3:30 PM-6:30 PM, Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Food and non-alcoholic beverages in plastic containers may be brought in. (Refrigerator, freezer and/or ice is not available.)

You must have a SMARTlink account in order to reserve a birthday party with the child’s name added on the account that the birthday party is being held for. (Please click here to see acceptable proof of residency and identity.) All reservations must be made and paid in full in person; please call the facility for reservation registration hours.

GENERAL PARTY RULES AND INFORMATION

*Pictures are restricted to your party area and can only be taken of individuals in attendance of your party. Video is strictly prohibited.

*Grills, BBQs and other cooking devices are prohibited.

*Costume characters, clowns, performers, DJs, etc are prohibited.

*Balloons are only permitted in the reserved area.

*Failure to leave your location free of debris, food, decorations and trash will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $50.

*Your birthday party list is due to the facility 48 hours in advance of your party rental date. If additional guest are listed then you must come in person to secure the rental.

*All reservations are subject to the Inclement Weather Policy.

*Upon completion of the reservation, a list of party rules and regulations will be issued (i.e. no lighted candles, balloons, glass containers, and cameras on pool deck during Splash Park parties).

*Facility Management reserves the right to revise and/or establish additional rules and regulations at anytime in the interest of the health and safety of our patrons & staff. All facility rules & regulations will be enforced.

Location/Directions

This community center/splash pool complex is located on MD-193 (Glenn Dale Blvd) in Glenn Dale, MD. From Washington, D.C., take Route 50 East and exit onto MD-704 east (Martin Luther King Jr. Hwy). Continue on MD-704 for approimately three miles. Make a left at light onto MD-193 (Glenn Dale Blvd).  The facility will be on the left (across from the Glenn Dale Fire Station).

From Baltimore, take Route 3 South to Route 450 (Annapolis Road) East. Continue for approximately six miles and make a right onto Route 193 North and follow to complex on the left.
