Queen Anne Natural Area
18405 Queen Anne Road
Hours of Operation
Daily, 8 am-dusk
The park has over 4 miles of scenic woodland trails for hikers, bicyclists and horseback riders. Fishing is permitted along the river near the old Queen Anne bridge. The river is tidal, so a Chesapeake Bay sport fishing license is required for all anglers 16 and older. The property also provides access to the river for canoes and kayaks. The site has a floating dock, parking facilities and is a launch site for the Patuxent Water Trail. The river is susceptible to seasonal flooding so visitors are encouraged to check river conditions and plan ahead. Access is restricted.
