canoeThe Canoe Launch is located adjacent to the Patuxent River 4-H Center. To access the launch site, enter through a gate at the parking lot of the Patuxent River Scenic Trail at Queen Anne. A floating pier provides easy access to the river and parking is available. The river is susceptible to seasonal flooding so visitors are encouraged to check river conditions and plan ahead. Access is restricted - call the park office at 301-627-6074 to get the lock combination.

Located in the historic area of port town Queen Anne.
 
From Rte. 301 in Bowie turn onto Queen Anne Road. Go 2.2 miles and turn right at entrance to Patuxent River 4-H Center. Take gravel road to landing; access restricted.
