Zumba Plus

2012 Summer Day Camps


Parents, it's time to start planning your child's summer fun.




Registration:
A SMARTlink client account is required to register your child for summer camps. If you do not have a family account set, visit Become a SMARTlink Client or visit any M-NCPPC staffed facility during normal business hours and bring proof of identity, ages, and residency for yourself and each family member that will be on your account.

Age Requirements:
Campers must be ages 6-10 by August 31, 2012 and ages 11-15 by December 31, 2012.

All required camp and medical forms are to be completely filled out and turned in to the nature center by June 1, 2012. If registering after June 1, all forms are due at the time of registration.

At the time of registration, please make sure that your home mailing and e-mail address on your SMARTlink account is current and correct; otherwise we will be unable to mail you the necessary forms to fill out. Campers will not be allowed to attend camp if the necessary paperwork has not been filled out and turned in.


Before and After Extended Care:
AM and PM care are available for all nature summer camps.
AM Care: 7-9 am; Fee: Resident $13; Non-Resident $15
PM Care: 4:30-6 pm; Fee: Resident $12; Non-Resident $15

Payment:
Camps may be paid in full at the time of camp registration, or a $50 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit may be applied to each registration to hold your spot. Full payment must be made by June 1 (for camps starting on or before July 9) or by July 1 (for camps starting after July 9). Failure to pay in full by the due date may cause you to lose your spot in that camp. Personal checks will not be accepted after June 1.

Nature Detectives

Listen closely to clues in nature. Spend the week discovering the wonders of plants, animals and the natural world through indoor and outdoor activities including hikes, crafts, and games.

Wetland Wanderers
Explore local ponds, rivers, and streams on foot and by boat. Activities include the catch, study, and release of wetland creatures and daily expeditions to search for wildlife clues. Also, learn to use water-testing equipment.
