Want to see deer, muskrats, bluebirds, hawks, and frogs in their natural environment? Check out Cheltenham Wetlands Park! With over 200 acres managed by M-NCPPC, this park is home to various species of birds, insects, mammals, fish, and amphibians. Foot trails, boardwalks and scenic overlooks provide hikers with the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of Prince George's County while special nature programs teach visitors about wildlife and ecology.

Location/Directions From the Capital Beltway (I-495) , take Exit 7A (Branch Avenue, Route 5), toward Waldorf. Make a left onto Surratts Road. Southern Maryland Hospital will be on your right at the top of hill. Follow Surratts Road until it dead-ends at Frank Tippett Road. Make a left onto Frank Tippett Road. Make the next left at Commo Road and continue until you pass over a bridge. The entrance is on your right.
