Individuals with Disabilities
M-NCPPC invites Prince George's County residents with disabilities to participate in the full array of classes, programs, and special events. The Special Programs Division provides Therapeutic Recreation Programs and Services for county residents with disabilities. This refers to individuals whose disability affects one or more major life activities and includes, but is not limited to, individuals who are enrolled in special education centers, resource classes, diagnostic centers, and vocational programs.
The Department of Parks & Recreation also offers Inclusion Services for individuals with disabilities. These services are provided to enable people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in any registered program or event that is offered by M-NCPPC.

What other choices are available for individuals with disabilities?The Department of Parks and Recreation in Prince George's County also offers alternative choices through specialized recreation activities for individuals with disabilities. M-NCPPC customers have a wide range of abilities and special needs. Some people prefer to participate in separate specialized programs designed specifically for participants with disabilities. For specialized program inquiries, please call the Special Programs Division at 301-446-3400 (voice) or 301-446-3402 (TTY). Program spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
