Summer Day Camps 2010
Looking for a summer adventure for your child or teen? M-NCPPC offers structured, full-day and half-day camps for children and teens ages 3½-17. Included are general recreation camps (Explorers) that feature arts & crafts, sports, swimming and field trips. Innovative specialty camps feature nature, visual and performing arts, computers, sports and more.
Most day camp sessions are two weeks long and operate Mondays through Fridays from 9 am-4:30 pm. Before and After Care options are available to help working parents with safe, childcare options. Summer Day Camps have more staff and fewer campers than do drop-in playgrounds and teen centers; campers must be signed in and out by authorized parents or guardians.
Registration for Prince George's County residents begins at 9 am on Saturday, February 27; non-residents may register beginning the next Saturday. If you need further assistance, please contact the Park and Planning Help Desk at 301-699-CALL (2255) or help4smartlink@pgparks.com .
Summer day camps are designed for specific age groups to allow for appropriate activities and supervision.

From a Customer "I just want to say, for the third year in a row, what an enormous pleasure it is working with Prince George’s Park and Planning. This is the third year that I have enrolled my daughter in your camps and my experience has been uniformly pleasant, from the friendly outgoing counselors that work directly with my daughter, to the administrators of the facilities where the camps are held, to the people who have to put up with me, two years in a row, losing my receipts and needing copies at tax time.
I realize that parks and planning is probably a fun place to work since it’s about leisure and recreation, but I still think your entire operation is terrific."
