Located in the Henson Creek Stream Valley Park, Tucker Road Community Center features a gymnasium, offices, a fitness room, a warming kitchen, meeting rooms, storage areas, and restrooms with showers. Outdoor amenities include a picnic area, two lighted tennis courts, and play equipment.
Sports, arts, fitness, dance, crafts, self-improvement, computers, drama, games, hobbies, martial arts, music, and do-it-yourself instruction are among the activities offered here. The center also hosts tournaments, clubs, camps, special events, workshops, drop-in programs, after-school programs, and cultural activities. Children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will find a variety of recreation opportunities available at the center. The center participates in the Teen Extreme program every Friday and Saturday night from 7-10 pm.

The center is located in Fort Washington, Maryland, between Palmer and Tucker Roads.
From the Capital Beltway (I-495) south toward Richmond, Virginia, take Exit 4 west (St. Barnabas Road) toward Oxon Hill. At the first traffic light, make a left onto John Hanson Lane. At the next traffic light, make a right onto St. Barnabas Road. Continue through Bock Road intersection and make a left onto Tucker Road. The center is on the right. (Tucker Road Sports/Ice Rink Complex is on the left.)
