The Southern Regional Technology and Recreation Complex is a 37,000-square-foot LEED Silver certified state-of-the-art technology and recreation facility. It is home to innovative 21st century technology and recreation initiatives for people of all ages and abilities. Come in and experience programs that promote, teach, and reinforce lifetime leisure habits, physical activity, health and wellness, and technology skills. In addition, this multigenerational facility offers exceptional rental opportunities for weddings, business meetings, and other events.
Sports, Health & WellnessSouth Tech/Rec offers a wide variety of unique sports, health & wellness classes, summer day camps and special events.
Rock Climbing WallThis is the best rock climbing wall in Prince George’s County! Learning to climb here is easy with plenty of climbing paths for every ability level.
GymnasiumThe double gymnasium includes 4 full-sized basketball courts with retractable basketball rims, bleachers, 2 team rooms, a high quality sound system, floor mounts for volleyball, and an elevated indoor track.
Dance StudioBeautifully lit with a wall of mirrors and glossy wood-paneled floors, this space is for dancers of all ages to engage in art and fitness.
Fitness RoomThe new state-of-the-art exercise and training equipment here will help you reach your fitness goals. Showers are available in both the men’s and women’s restrooms.
Teen Fitness RoomDesigned to support healthy habits and help teens reach their physical fitness goals in a private, comfortable, and fun setting, this room is outfitted with video game, dance, and boxing equipment.
TechnologyThe Technology wing of South Tech/Rec is furnished with state- of-the-art equipment to offer innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs to youth, adults, and senior citizens.
Science LabThe science lab is designed for conducting simple science experiments and demonstrations of live, hands-on engineering principles. It features well-fitted tables and chairs and a washing station. Fun and innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math classes will get you excited about S.T.E.M.!
Computer LabEnrichment, educational, and workforce readiness classes will be offered in the computer lab, which features Apple and HP work stations equipped with the latest software. The interactive audio and visual SMARTboards with projector promotes hands-on involvement. When not being used for classes, computers will be available for personal use.
Recording StudioThe digital recording studio, equipped with state-of-the-art Pro Tools HD and Avid software, offers recording services for an array of projects. The professional sound engineer can take your project through all stages of production - recording, mixing, editing, and mastering - to deliver superior results.
Adult & Teen CafésThese colorful relaxation and study areas are equipped with large plasma screen televisions, SMARTtables, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary tea and coffee.
Rental OpportunitiesThis landmark facility also offers a variety of rental opportunities.

Location/DirectionsSouthern Regional Technology and Recreation Complex is located in southern Prince George’s County approximately 3 miles from the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
From the north, take I-495 S/The Capital Beltway, take Exit 4A (MD-414 W/St. Barnabas Road) toward Oxon Hill. Merge onto St. Barnabas Road. Continue on St. Barnabas Road for 1.1 mi and turn left onto Bock Road. Continue for 0.6 mi. The complex will be on your right.
From Virginia, take I-495/The Capital Beltway crossing The Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 3B toward MD-210 N Forest Heights. Turn left onto Oxon Hill Road. In 0.4 mi, turn right onto Livingston Road and then left onto Bock Road. The complex will be on your right.
