Rollingcrest-Chillum Community Center, located adjacent to Rollingcrest-Chillum Splash Pool, opened in 1987. The center features a gymnasium, offices, a craft room, meeting room, pre-school room, game room, fitness room, warming kitchen, and a cardio-vascular fitness wing connecting to the indoor splash pool.

Sports, arts, fitness, dance, crafts, cooking, drama, games, self-improvement, computers, hobbies, martial arts, music, and do-it-yourself instruction are among the activities offered here. The center also hosts clubs, camps, special events, workshops, drop-in programs, after-school programs, and cultural activities at different times. Pre-schoolers, children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will find a variety of recreation opportunities available at the center.

Location/Directions

From Capital Beltway (I-495), take Exit 28 South onto Route 650 (New Hampshire Avenue). Make a left onto Route 193 (University Boulevard). Proceed one mile and make a right onto Riggs Road. Make a left onto Sargent Road. Center is on the right past the Big K-Mart.
