Prince George's Plaza Community Center, built in 1968, was the first community center built by M-NCPPC in Prince George's County.
This newly renovated center offers a beautiful fitness center featuring Cybex Eagle selectorized equipment, treadmills, life cycles, ellipticals, and cardio-theater vision.
Other significant renovations include: a professional meeting room with hookup for PowerPoint presentations; a refurbished gym floor which gives a classic look to the gymnasium; accessible restrooms; and a bright, welcoming lobby for patrons.
The center offers a variety of recreation activities for people of all ages. Open bridge tables and open gym are offered for seniors on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am-1:30 pm.
Exciting Xtreme Teens programs are held Friday and Saturday nights from 7-10 pm. Classes in martial arts, dance, exercise, and toddler activities are available.
