Located on 11 acres of parkland, Peppermill Community Center features a gymnasium, two meeting rooms, a game room, a fitness room, a warming kitchen, offices, and storage areas. Outdoor recreation amenities include a walking trail with exercise stations, a football/softball field, two tennis courts, a basketball court, and play equipment.

Sports, arts, fitness, dance, crafts, self-improvement, computers, drama, games, hobbies, martial arts, music, and do-it-yourself instruction are among the activities offered here. The center also hosts tournaments, clubs, camps, special events, workshops, drop-in programs, after-school programs, and cultural activities at different times. Pre-schoolers, children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will find a variety of recreation opportunities available at the center.

Location/Directions

Located in Landover, Maryland near the FedEx Field, between Martin Luther King Highway and Central Avenue.

From the Capital Beltway (I-495), take Exit 15B West (Central Avenue). Proceed to the third light and turn right onto Hill Road. Proceed through the next traffic light and travel for 1/4 mile. The center will be on your left.

From Martin Luther King Highway (Route 704) toward Washington, D.C., cross over Sheriff Road. Make a left turn at the next light onto Hill Road. Proceed one mile. The center will be on your right.
