Kentland Community Center, the Prince George's Ballroom, and the Prince George's County Youth Golf Training Center are all located on the site of the former Prince George's Golf and Country Club. The center is surrounded by more than 100 acres of rolling green parkland. Located in the center are three meeting rooms, a game room, a fitness room, a pre-school room/meeting room, a warming kitchen, and offices. Outdoor facilities on-site include the youth golf training center, two lighted tennis courts, a lighted softball field, a football field, a playfield, a picnic pavilion, play equipment, two unlighted basketball courts, and one lighted basketball court. Recreation programs and classes in the areas of sports, arts, fitness, dance, crafts, cooking, self-improvement, computers, drama, games, hobbies, martial arts, music, and do-it-yourself instruction are among the activities offered here. Tournaments, clubs, camps, special events, workshops, drop-in programs, after-school programs, and cultural activities are held at this site at different times. Pre-schoolers, children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will find a variety of recreation opportunities available at the center. From Capital Beltway (I-495), take Route 202 North toward Bladensburg. Make a left onto Pinebrook Avenue.
