The center features a gymnasium, multi-purpose room, game room, office, fitness room, warming kitchen, storage area and restrooms. Although the community center and school are not physically connected, the center's gymnasium is shared with the school. Outdoor recreation amenities include a football/softball field, a basketball court, a tennis court, and playground equipment. Sports, arts, fitness, dance, crafts, cooking, self-improvement, computers, drama, games, music, and do-it-yourself instruction are among the activities offered here. The center also hosts tournaments, clubs, camps, special events, workshops, drop-in programs, after-school programs, mentoring programs, and cultural activities at different times. Children, teens, adults, and senior citizens will find a variety of recreation opportunities available at the center. Location/Directions The center is located in Oxon Hill, Maryland, in close proximity to the District of Columbia. From the Capital Beltway (I-495) South, toward Richmond, Virginia, take Exit 3 (Indian Head Highway) toward Forest Heights/Washington, D.C. Make a right at the first traffic light onto Livingston Road. At the next traffic light, make a left onto Livingston Terrace. Continue to Marcy Avenue. Center is at the end of the street on the right. Fire station is on the left.
From St. Barnabas Road, make a right onto Wheeler Road. Continue on Wheeler Road and make a left onto Owens Road. Make a left onto Kennebec Street. Make a left onto Deal Street. Make a left onto Marcy Avenue. Center is at end of the street on the right.
