Therapeutic Program LocationsM-NCPPC's Therapeutic Recreation Kids' Care After-School programs and Leisure and Life Skills programs are offered at sites throughout the county. Kids' Care programs serve the needs of individulas with disabilities who are between the ages of 5 and 20. These specialized programs feature small group sizes, high staff/participant ratios, adapted equipment and more. Leisure and Life Skills for Teens is an after-school program for youth ages 13-20 with developmental disabilities who attend CRI classes in middle and high schools. This licensed program focuses on social and recreation skill development with opportunities for community integration and socialization with youth without disabilities.Both programs operate in conjunction with the Prince George's County Public Schools' calendar; both begin in August and end in June. When schools are closed for full days, these programs are also closed. The fee of $1,550 may be paid in 10 monthly installments of $155, plus a $25 mandatory, non-refundable registration fee. For those who opt to schedule ten (10) payments, the first payment of $180 includes the $25 registration fee, and the subsequent nine (9) payments are $155 each. Completed health forms are mandatory for participation in this program. Please call for information about a specific program.
