The M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation has a close working relationship with the Prince George's County Boys & Girls Club, Inc. The private, non-profit organization offers a variety of recreational sports for girls and boys ages 5-18, regardless of ability and/or skill level. Incorporated under the statues of the State of Maryland and governed by a board of directors, the Boys & Girls Club is composed of 33 member clubs located throughout Prince George's County; children must be county residents to play on a team.

Each geographic area club is operated by volunteers. Approximately 3,000 dedicated volunteers serve over 18,000 youth members by coaching and supporting basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, cheerleading, track, and football programs. Participants receive instruction from coaches who are American Sports Effectiveness Program (ASEP) qualified.
