Charles Reiher – Color and Rhythm
Charles Reiher’s non objective acrylic and ink paintings on Yupo paper create an intense emphasis on color and movement for the viewer. Adding layers of poured paint, gesso, molding paste, sand and various collaged materials, Mr Reiher creates an incredible depth and three-dimensionality in his work.
Reception for the artist is Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 3-5 pm.

Earth Center for the Arts – Human Nature
The diverse styles and media of artists Melissa Burley, Jessica Braiterman, Maxine Cable, Gary Irby, Andrea Uravitch, Elizabeth Crisman, Howard McCoy and Mary McCoy come together as the Earth Center for the Arts to explore the aspects of the relationship of humans and nature. Using human, animal and plant forms as well as natural and man made found objects, the artists’ present fertile perspectives that inspire scrutiny of this ecologically vital subject.
