PLEASE NOTE: Effective February 1st, 2013, clients reserving a rental building by phone must confirm rental agreements using electronic signature via email. Clients must have access to email during the reservation phone call as the agreement will be emailed for signature at the same time. Rental agreements will not be finalized until the emailed document is verified and electronically signed by the client.

VERIFICATION POLICY (effective 1/1/2011): In order to rent a park shelter or recreation building, the renter must first become a verified SMARTlink Customer and provide valid proof of residency, age and ID. Click here for more information on becoming a SMARTlink customer!

IMMEDIATE PAYMENT POLICY (effective 9/1/2011): All rentals made through the Park Permits Office must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY (effective 5/1/04): All cancellations prior to five (5) business days of an event will result in an 80% refund of the cost of the facility. All cancellations within five (5) business days of an event will not be eligible for any refund.

Location/Directions

Located in the Parks & Recreation Administration Building in Riverdale, MD, just south of the intersection of Kenilworth Avenue and Paint Branch Parkway.

From the Capital Beltway (I-495) take Exit 23. At the top of the ramp, turn left onto Kenilworth Avenue (Route 201 South). Go about 2.8 miles – Parks & Recreation Administration Building is on the right, just past the Elks Lodge.
