Chelsey Green and the Green Project

Chelsey green Performing music that could be described as “Classical Soul,” Chelsey Green and The Green Project give the violin an electrifying new voice and bring the unmatched tone, richness and vibrancy of acoustic violin playing to audiences in a way they have never experienced.

Having studied classical technique and repertoire for over 20 years, Chelsey incorporates repertoire and techniques of standard classical music performance to re-identify popular favorites and perform exciting original tunes in genres across the board including Soul, R&B, Jazz, Funk, Rock, and more!

The ensemble has also had the esteemed honor of performing at Black Rock Center for the Arts, Strathmore Music Center, NAACP National Convention, BET Honors Awards Dinner, the Millennium Stage at The John F. Kennedy Center, Bohemian Caverns, Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, Lake Arbor Jazz Festival and more!
 
Big Daddy Stallings

Big Daddy Stalling As a critically acclaimed Blues artist, Big Daddy Stallings has been entertaining audiences across the globe for years. The Columbia, S.C. native has topped international radio charts and shared the stage with a diverse and eclectic group of musicians.

In 2005, his song “One Night Lover” Peaked at #1 on XM Radio (Bluesville) and on The Midnite Special Blues Radio Show in Paris, France. The single “4x4 Woman” also received an Honorable Mention Distinction in The 16th Annual Billboard World Song Contest from over 1500 entries.

“Big Daddy’s” 2nd and 3rd CD’s “Blues Evolution” (2007) and “Blues Party” (2009) received global Attention and positive reviews in Blues Matters and Blues & Soul (U.K.) IL Blues (Italy) and Soul Bag (France) Magazines. Big Daddy Stallings continues to thrill audiences with his innovative and passionate performances, and remains one of the must see performers in his genre.
 
Christylez Bacon

Christylez Bacon A GRAMMY® Nominated Progressive Hip-Hop artist and multi-instrumentalist, Christylez Bacon hails from Southeast, Washington, DC.

He multi-tasks between various instruments such as the West African djembe drum, acoustic guitar, and the human beat-box (oral percussion), all while continuing the oral tradition of storytelling through his lyrics.

With a mission towards cultural acceptance and unification through music, Christylez is constantly pushing the envelope – from performances at the National Cathedral, to becoming the first Hip-Hop artist to be featured at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival and many more accolades, he talent is a one-of-a kind experience that simply cannot be missed
 
Wendy McIntyre

A native of North Carolina, Wendy McIntyre spent her formative years in the Washington, DC area. There she developed her voice in various choirs, talent shows and events around the city.

Her debut EP, The Anthem is the culmination of years spent creating a collection of songs meant to inspire, encourage and share her musical gift with the world. Wendy's emotive alto and range are fully.

Wendy McIntyre is an artist who set out to share her thoughts, memories, hopes and loves amidst a backdrop of thought-provoking lyrics and lush orchestration. Wendy McIntyre is a singer, and a lyricist, who passionately delivers and elevates the craft.
 
Robert "Mousey" Thompson and the James Brown Experience

Globally respected soul great Robert Mousey Thompson’s smooth, flowing grooves seem almost effortless. Mousey, is best known for his work as drummer for the original master showman, the late "Godfather of Soul", James Brown.

With his James Brown tribute band, Thompson has circled the globe countless times, performing for millions upon millions of die-hard fans.  Mousey has just about done it all. He has performed on most every hit variety and talk show of the last couple decades, and has performed on the grandest of all stages, including Woodstock 99, Live 8, and the American Music Awards.

He continues to perform with bands in honor of the legendary Godfather, and has recently completed a number of collaborations with artists ranging from Bootsy Collins to Jab’o Starks and Clyde Stubblefield.

Black Alley

For more than five years now, Black Alley has been pushing the art of music to its rhythmic limits. Determined to create a unique musical elixir, Black Alley has taken the finest ingredients of funk, hip-hop, soul and rock to create their own genre-bending sound called "Soul Garage." The band is one, each musician surrendering to the union of sounds, each delivering music from their soul, while in dialogue with one another through their instruments. Each member of this septet is essential to the workability and funkability of the unit, which is Black Alley.

Black Alley is one of the most followed, trendsetting and sought-after music groups hailing from the nation's capital.
