The rich smells of BBQ will fill the air on May 31 and June 1 at the 7th Annual Beltway BBQ Showdown! This year’s event will return to Tucker Road Athletic Complex conveniently located in Prince George’s County near the Washington Beltway and Woodrow Wilson Bridge in Fort Washington, Maryland. The four standard categories of this sanctioned Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) event will be grilling on the coals including: pork, chicken, beef and ribs. The KCBS certified judges will have the final say in deciding the Grand Champion. The new $10,000 purse is sure to please many as the competition heats up come turn-in time on Saturday.  Last year’s event proved to be an exciting competition. Enjoy a fun day of family events that gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the BBQ competition! Last year nearly 5,000 visitors enjoyed quality food vendors, crafters and community exhibitors. The Classic Car Show was a favorite and sponsorship is growing!
